MSI Wind U160DX

At the company press release was announced the new  MSI Wind mini laptop :  U160DX. It is practically equipped with current Wind U160 Intel Atom N455 processor at 1.66 GHz instead of N450.

The folks at Intel have not yet officially announced the upcoming Atom processor N455 and N475, but they already know about that will be compatible with DDR3 RAM. Moreover, their specifications are similar to the current Intel Atom N450 and N470. It appears that MSI will be those among the top producers will launch a netbook with N455.

In terms of design, U160DX Wind look like the u160 and probably will have the same techinical specifications, including the 10.1-inch display. The mini laptop U160DX MSI also promises an impressive battery life of 15 hours. Other details include equipment technologies and Eco Engine Power Management MSI and MSI Turbo Drive Engine will be included .

Asus Eee PC 1005PE – up to 12 hours of mobility

A few days ago we enjoyed the presence of a mini laptop : the Asus Eee PC Laptop 1005PE .
The model was officially launched this year and then appeared in stores worldwide .

The model is part of the Asus Eee PC and unmistakable models in the seashell series. A plastic casing is machined to be finger friendly print.
I liked it, as you can see and touch the external case, you will fin that its a black matte imitating the carbon fiber textures .
Has the same rounded forms and elegant as previous models. It is extremely practical and mobile, weighing only 1.27 kg.
They don`t offer to many things in the packafe, but I can tell you that you will get a battery, charger, power cable, manual, DVD, warranty. The Package we had for test come in with a cover,but the official package does not, however, you can buy one to protect your mini laptop on the go.

The keyboard and touchpad are the same as the Asus Eee PC 1201HA model in terms of quality and construction, just a keyboard that is 92% of a natural one.
I like the keyboard because the keys are ergonomic and insulated and there is enough space between them.

Being a mini laptop, configuration is a normal for this class. Under is an Intel Atom N450 Pineview at 1.66 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, an Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics and a 250GB HDD.
